my petition to president Garcia of Peru

Thank you

We will deliver the petition to President Garcia of Peru. If uncontacted tribes' lands are protected, they will have the space and time to decide for themselves if and when to make contact - and will survive

The words I saw after I signed my name and email address to petition President Garcia to PROTECT the indigenous tribes of South America

Exposing the tribes to contact with everyone else could kill them. It has been proven that depopulation is almost certain when you invade their territory. Please dont allow oil companies to take over the land. Leave these people alone.

Stand with me to fight

Peru moving in the right direction?

I really hope the people of Peru remain strong and remain vigilant when it comes to standing against the governemt. I have been following and checking the Peruvian newspapers to see if anything has changed, and so far nothing. Want to know why you wont hear about this stuff on YOUR evening news? because it doesn't matter. NOPE

It doesn't matter that innocent people children men women die everyday because we are to busy paying attention to tmz. People, we need a revolution. We need to hold the Peruvian government to be transparent about what is really going on. The system needs a reform, and the president needs to listen.

The OIL is penetrating into the systems of the native brothers and sisters there. It is in the water in which they bathe in, drink, swim, and cook in. It is in the soil. It is taking over crops, land, and its also harming the animals. I have written I don't know how many blogs about the oil situation in Peru. But this has to stop. I don't think people realize how precious the amazon is to not just South America. But to the Planet itself! Bush has close, maybe to close, ties to oil companies that are trying to drill in the amazon. GREEDY BASTARD. does he care that people die because of his greed? WHEN PIGS FLY
And not just him folks. Almost half the amazon is leased to these oil companies. And the government of Peru are signing these permissions over as if this is some hall pass?!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF SOMEONE CAME INTO YOUR HOME, YOUR TERRITORY AND SAID "HEY, I WANT TO LEAVE MY GARBAGE HERE, AND IF YOU DON'T LET ME DO IT, I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY"

Is that Humane? What do these oil companies care more about? A lot of tribes are suffering of course because of this cleaver plan. Like I said it is getting into their water. Do you know what that does to your body? I mean why is this even an issue? What type of human being, thinks this is okay? How come this isn't stopping? Would you hand your child a cup of dirty water if s/he said they were thirsty? No. So why allow it to happen to our brothers and sisters in Peru. Who die to maintain the very little rights they have when it comes to the choices their government is making for them. Not just Peru, but Brazil, Venezuela, and other countries who share the amazon. STAND UP

Peru's uncontacted tribes in danger!

SHAME SHAME AND MORE SHAME

WHERE DO I BEGIN? Like seriously? More about Peru and the good for nothing oil companies once again trying to take over the world.

Okay so as some of you should know there are still some UNCONTACTED TRIBES around the world. Some people believe that the tribes should be left alone, and others believe that they should be contacted. That's up to you. But unfortunately the OIL COMPANIES trying to invade the amazonian territories don't care what you think or what anyone else thinks and they are going to rampage human and wildlife by any means necessary.

I did a little research and apparently there are 100 uncontacted tribes around the world, 67 in Brazil, and 15 in Peru. If you understand the geography of the amazon for the lack of a better word..its friggen HUGE! Its full of beauty, mystery, life, and history. I think I have explained in one of my blogs before about how important the amazon is to this planet. It's resourceful. It also is one of the most species rich land on the earth. did that make sense? ahh idontcare i cant spell. Anyhow...the amazon is supposed to be protected from savage takeovers from company's who want to profit. Infact there was a law passed in peru. becuase im lazy here is a part of an article I found about Peru's uncontacted tribe

“Law for the Protection of Isolated Peoples in Voluntary Isolation” (Law 28736). A year later, however, Peru’s President, Alan Garcia, issued a Presidential Decree in October of 2007 stating that reserves for people in “voluntary isolation” (that is, uncontacted or extremely isolated tribes) can be exploited for their natural resources. Many view this decree as a “loophole” designed to allow for the extraction of oil and gas on uncontacted people’s lands. Typically, between 30% and 50% of uncontacted indigenous people often die within a year or two after contact, due to their lack of resistance to germs such as the common cold. The following is a report by Survival International and sent to CERD (the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination)–KM)."

So there you have it. But for some reason no one cares about this law and its being disregarded

why is it so hard for president Garcia to do the right thing?

Peru Amazon Leased for Petroleum

By the way the link to where i read this source is here...

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE PERUVIAN AMAZON IS ALMOST THE SIZE OF CALIFORNIA?

INDIGENOUS TERRITORIES ARE BEING INVADED AND SEIGED BY THESE OIL COMPANY'S WHO DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE NATIVE PEOPLE OF THE BEAUTIFUL SOUTH AMERICA ESPECIALLY PERU.

What makes me upset is the president of Peru..-you think- would be proud of his country! but no! Instead he allows his own people to suffer, and even die! And for what? Well lets talk about it.

The news isn't covering enough about this and Its making me mad like everything else. First of all if you knew how much the amazon in South America is contributing to our planet earth then it would make you upset to. but that fact that the government is allowing their own people to be killed off and massacred like dogs is sickening. The government is not protecting the rights of the indigenous people of Peru or the amazon at all! and its about time someone stands up for them! these people don't have a voice because they are being wiped out and shut down. they are being ignored and exterminated and its unfair and unjust. this is a horrible atrocity men and women and children dying because a few big men want to make a few bucks. GRRRRRR

OKAY LET ME BREATH. I READ UP A LOT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE AMAZON AND SO VERY FEW PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT LET ALONE STAND UP FOR THE DEFENSELESS PEOPLE WHO NEED OUR HELP! PERU IS SIGNING A BUNCH OF CONTRACTS WITH OIL COMPANY'S THAT WILL PRETTY MUCH WIPE OUT SOME PRETTY IMPORTANT PLACES FOR THE NATIVES AND THE WILDLIFE OF THE AMAZON. THE AMAZON IS FILLED WITH BEAUTY SECRETS AND WONDER THAT HAS BEEN UNEXPLORED! ITS FILLED WITH HISTORY SO RICH AND SO EXOTIC ITS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE LET ALONE THE POLITICIANS WHO NEED TO BE PRESERVING IT WILL ALLOW IT TO BE WIPED OUT.

PEOPLE ARE BEING KILLED COLD BLOODED IN THEIR OWN HOMES, HUTS, THE STREETS. THE POLICE ARE DUMPING THE NATIVE PEOPLES BODIES IN THE RIVERS! THE CHILDREN ARE DRINKING WATER FILLED WITH OIL AND GARBAGE EVEN A DOG WOULD PASS UP! WOULD YOU ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO DRINK DIRTY WATER? WHERE CAN THESE NATIVES FIND CLEAN WATER WITHOUT BEING HUNTED DOWN? THIS IS SO INFURIATING! ITS A HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT THE HUMAN RACE WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST REGARD TO THEIR LIVELY HOOD. ITS disgusting! (sigh) I don't know anymore. Its horrible to think people can be so cruel. Stand up for the amazon and everything and everyone that lives in it. If they will do it to the amazon, then imagine what they would allow to happen to you? Stand up for Human rights, for the poor defenseless people who are dying over there. contact your politicians and bring light to the issue. the government lies, the cheat, the steal, and they are good at it. but knowledge is power. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

STAND UP PERU

STAND DOWN OIL COMPANIES!

lets keep fighting for the rights of human power.

THE ACHUAR PEOPLE IN PERU

I wanted to dedicate my first blog on this website to the Achuar community in Peru.I have been doing tons of research on this topic and I felt that it was imperative to share this with the world.

My favorite actress in the entire UNIVERSE Q'orinka Kilcher, has been fighting for a cause that I truly believe is worth fighting for. Q'orinka (actress) is a strong supporter of indigenous populations around the world. If you haven't already heard, she was recently arrested for chaining herself to the fence of the white house. Check it out on YouTube! I'm proud of her for making such an extreme decision and her dedication has inspired me deeply...here's why..

Alan Garcia is currently the President of Peru. Peru is one of the most historical and beautiful places in the world. Alan Garcia recently met up with American President Barack Obama at the white house to discuss some important business like stuff. But he has been ignoring the pleas of his own people. He has been treating his own Peruvian people like dogs. He referred to them as "second-class citizens and barbaric savages." All because they were protesting to save their land. Alan Garcia has been giving up of their lands to oil and gas companies. More than 70% of Peru’s Amazon has been auctioned off to oil companies, without the Indians approval. The indigenous people have been suffering since the 1970's! They are the direct victims of oil drilling. Plus Petrol has been illegally dumping oil in thier rivers. They didn't even warn the indigenous people of the health risk and now their suffering because of it.

Celso Caffalon wrote an article on this problem and I wanted to post some of what he said on this blog. "What has just occurred in Perú last weekend represents one of the worst human rights abuses in any country in Latin America for the last two decades.

The criminal government of Alan Garcia recently massacred more than thirty indigenous Amazonians who were protesting against the government’s imposition of a dozen decrees that attack their rights to land, water, and the right to live in a contamination free environment. The indigenous peoples have named the laws which the homicidal Peruvian government is trying to impose “the death decrees”. There are indigenous organisations speaking of more than 100 dead, more than 200 wounded, and more than 20 activists “disappeared“.

To be quite honest with you it makes me furious. I don't understand why how people get away with such stuff. Some of the Peruvian people have been killed by the Peruvian police and their bodies were being dumped in a river. The government has been hiding the deaths of these peacefull protesters and they have been destroying the land. Are these people animals? How could you do that? Alan Gracia's greed and abuse has led to an appalling lust for profit. No responsable effort has been made to clean up this mess and take care of the injustice done to our people.

Here are some facts about the Amazon. The amazon basin is the earths biggest freshwater eco-system and resevoir for a fifth of our plantes fresh water. Peru has the largest butterfly species than any other country in the world. Lima is the capital of Peru. Peru is the third largest country in South America. Its twice the size of Great Britain,. 25.7 million people live in Peru.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT ALAN GARCIA IS A TERROIST AND A HORRIBLE LEADER. WE SHOULD BE PROTECTING THE ACHUAR PEOPLE, THE PERUVIAN PEOPLE, AND THE AMAZON OF SOUTH AMERICA. MY MESSAGE TO THE PERUVIAN PEOPLE IS TO HOLD STRONG AND CONTINUE FIGHTING. I WILL DO MY BEST TO BRING MORE AWARENESS TO THIS CAUSE AND SEEK JUSTICE FOR THESE PEOPLE.
