PASADO

The Wipeout

Loggers in the amazonian forest in Brazil had the absolute NERVE!!, to threaten government officials because the government came to take the illegal machinery from the illegal loggers.
So let me get this strait,

1. You illegally come to a territory to destroy the crop, fields, and kill the people
2. Threaten the very people who can put you in jail because they came to seize your material
3. Then get mad and continue to illegally destroy land that does not belong to you??

Let me remind people how important the amazon rain forest is. It is the LARGEST RAIN FOREST ON PLANET EARTH. The second largest is the Congo Basin. And the Third largest is Indonesian Archipelago. One fifth of the worlds

Between May 2000 and August 2006, Brazil lost nearly 150,000 square kilometers of forest—an

area larger than Greece—and since 1970, over 600,000 square kilometers (232,000 square miles) of Amazon rainforest have been destroyed.plants and birds come from the amazonian rain forest. According to mongabay.com:
Indigenous people only want to live in harmony with the forest who have provided shelter, food for them and their ancestors. How would you feel if someone came into your home, decided to take property that you worked so hard to provide for your fam
ily and destroyed it? Or worse, killed you and your children because you refused to leave your home. Well this is what is happening to people/tribes living in the amazon and around it. Not only that, but some activist who fight for the rights of our brothers and sisters have also been murdered. I blogged about a girl who was tied to a tree and burned alive while the loggers laughed. How sick in the head?

The devastation of the tribes who are fighting for their land is describable. The anguish that they deal with on a day to day basis is pure torture in my eyes. I don't understand what this world is coming to. I really don't. How does a government get away with such atrocities? Is money that important? The violence that these children deal with being murdered or watching family members being murdered only because they are protecting what belongs to them is a crime. And we really need to step out of our daily comfort zones and fight for people who are being silenced and even worse, KILLED. We need to raise our voices for those who are facing injustices everyday. Because if it was you and I, im sure you would want someone to stand up for you.

I REALLY LOVE THIS POSTER. IT SAYS PARA! WHICH MEANS STOP!

BURNED SMALL GIRL ALIVE/madereros quemaron viva a una niña

Okay, So I just read on Qorianka's Kilcher's twitter wall that loggers burned an amazonian girl alive.

While reading the first few words, I was thinking in my head... "this can't be real." But when I clicked the link it was real. It was too real. For years I have been keeping up with the issues that the indigenous tribes face because of the greed that these petroleum companies put on them.

The article reads as this: Los madereros de Brasil capturó una niña de ocho años de edad, de uno de los últimos pueblos indígenas no contactados de la Amazonía y la quemaron viva, como parte de una campaña para obligar a la población indígena de su tierra, los informesreclamados en la noche del martes.

Loggers in Brazil captured an eight-year-old girl from one of the Amazon's last uncontacted tribes and burned her alive as part of a campaign to force the indigenous population from its land, reports claimed on Tuesday night.

this is sick and disgusting, and until the indigenous tribes see some real justice I suggest everyone raise cain to the people voted into congress and address this situation

What are you waiting for?

So I'm online reading the news sites like I always do. And I see that Joe Paterno breaks his silence about the sex abuse scandal that rocked Penn State.

I was pretty curious as to why he (Joe) never mentioned anything to the proper authorities (the police) about the sex abuse that had taken place. In his own words, this is what he said.

"I didn't know exactly how to handle it and I was afraid to do something that might jeopardize what the university procedure was. So I backed away and turned it over to some other people, people I thought would have a little more expertise than I did. It didn't work out that way"

I have a few problems with this statement and here's why. IF AT ANYTIME, YOU EVER SEE SEXUAL ABUSE GOING ON WITH ANYONE AT ANYTIME, YOU ALWAYS ALL THE POLICE. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHERE YOU ARE IN SOME FANCY SCHOOL, OR IN THE MIDDLE OF GHETTO BLVD. YOU GET HELP.
what the hell are you afraid of jeopardizing? The dignity of your colleagues? Or the innocence of a n child? wtf? How do you hear something like that and go back home and lay your head down?!

so what did he do? He told his boss and then athletic director Tim Curley. Who in return did less than nothing. No one ever called the cops, no one ever told the proper authorities to help get this child to safety. He also said that he did not know a man could rape another man. Now, for the benefit of the doubt I am going to defend this statement. Only because I know that Paterno is an older man, and sometimes these types of scandals can be so taboo that it's hard for people his age to comprehend. But at the end of the day, if this was one of paterno's grandchildren, I'm sure he would have done more to make sure that something like this would have been stopped. I do not know if I believe that he has never heard of a man raping another man, but obviously if someone is doing something to a child, let a lone rape...you speak up. There is no excuse what so ever. I am glad that everyone who knew about it, and has been charged, or dismissed are being investigated.

I find that anyone who finds children at all sexually appealing need serious mental health. I also feel that people who know a child is being harmed, and do nothing about it, are just as accountable. The well-being of child is much more important than how embarrassed a scandal makes you. ITS DISGUSTING AND IRRESPONSIBLE to not report a crime once your known about it. I do not know who the children are that have been involved in the scandal, but their mental health, their sexual innocence, and lives are forever changed. All because "a few good men" wanted to cover their asses.

smh :( what will it take? I am going to attach a video I think I have posted before about what someone should do if they see a child. Was he too old to be a coach of a college? no! Was he told old to know the difference between right and wrong? nope!

Things I cannot live without

1. Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. This is the most purest soap on ear
th. I love the way it makes me feel. I always feel refreshed after using it. The peppermint soap especially is very powerful and invigorating. The ingredients are pure, the soap is pure, and it is also good for the environment! It is a little pricey!!! But I think it is worth it. <3 This stuff is the best. seriously! I even heard someone say "it makes my dingle tingle."

2. Volume Million Lashes Mascara.
Collagen infused mascara= THE BEST THING EVER. I never need to wear false lashes because this mascara does it for me. It's like magic in a
tube. If you like big bold eyes, use this product.

3. Facebook. I NEED MY FIX.

4. Cherry Airheads. Cherry is my absolute FAVORITE FLAVOR when it comes to taffy,
chewy like candies. This candy has a non-stop burst of cherry flavor that to me, is ORGASMIC.

5. Christian Bale. <3 Watch American Psycho sex scene. NUFF
SAID

6. Bior Deep Pore Cleansing Strips. How many of you die inside when you see what was in your nose?

7. Sidekick 4g android. I love ANDROID. And I love SIDEKICKS. It was between that phone, and the HTC EVO. The sidekick is a pretty creative smart phone with features that are handy for heavy texter like me. I am always browsing on my phone and on the new sidekick the
wallpapers are live, interactive and very eye catching! The sucky part is, that my phone dies alot and I have to kill running apps in the background. No matter how many times I use my task killer it seems like more and more apps keep running. Its like trying to kill a fly and finding more and more!

8. The Regular Show. I for some reason find myself watching this show on my own free time. And I love it.

9. Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job. You are either a fan or your not. Like I mentioned before, I have a crazy and unusual sense of humor.

10. Organic Ginger Tea. I am getting more into HOLISTIC and NATURAL medicines and remedies for when I am feeling under the weather. Since pharmaceutical medicines can be either addictive/habit forming I want to depend on something I can rely on that will not hurt my body. Also, medicines don't always treat the problem, they just mask it. Leaving you with all these other side effects and toxins your body can do without. Natural alternatives are always the way
to go for my family and I. Tummy aches for me are usually resolved with GINGER TEA. Hot steaming ginger tea. It works miracles for me. Also peppermint tea. HOW DO YOU MAKE SOMETHING SO NATURAL, ILLEGAL? (IT PUTS PHARMACIES OUT OF BUSINESS)

11. Forever 21. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!! THE TRENDIEST CLOTHING AND THE BEST JEWELRY. That store is like crack cocaine for me

12. Organic Coconut milk. I am leaving the dairy behind. Coconut has numerous benefits for your body. And because I am an Island Girl, I love my coconut
